Grand Royal Poker Club Prepares To Host World Poke

The Grand Royal Poker Club in Hanoi is preparing to host the World Poker Championship starting this Friday. The series includes a 10-day action with a tour partnered with the South East Asia Poker Tour. There are a total of 19 events on the schedule, with less than half offering a solid prize.

Players who want to travel to Hanoi to participate in the series will be able to participate in events with a ₫ of more than 20 billion VN ($854,800) at stake in 19 events. The Vietnamese capital will provide players with events for 10 days, which will last until the 25th.

The series is aimed at all types of players with options for all bankrolls. Various games will be offered in different buy-ins. Low and high roller events are included. One of the highest buy-in events is the Super Star Challenge, where high rollers are expected to compete.

Satellites will also be provided so that players can attend the event at a lower price point. This is a great way for players with lower bankrolls to get a spot at a higher purchase event.

Key Event Information

The most anticipated tournament on the schedule is the main event. This poker tournament begins on Sept. 20 and charges $20 million (about $855) in VN ₫. Players will compete for $8 billion (about $341,900) in VN ₫.

The main event will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays on the 1B, 1C, and 1D, starting from Day 1A. The 1D event will be held on Thursdays as well and will be a turbo event. Day 2 will be held on Friday, Sept. 23 and the last table will be held on Sept. 24.

The bling level of the event is 40 minutes for three qualifying rounds. The turbo option has a 25-minute blind. Those who come on day 2 will automatically be rewarded and moved on the last day. Turnout for the main event is expected to be one of the largest in the series.
